Sunday Mornings

(For more info on Kids Club continue scrolling)

Sunday Morning Classrooms are designed with families in mind!

For first time guests we ask that you fill out a registration form at the First Time Check-In station. A volunteer will be there to assist you in any way and can provide you with information about our classrooms. Once registered you will go to a Check-In Kiosk and enter your phone number. Select your child and stickers will be printed for you. One sticker goes on your child, one is for each parent, and one is for a diaper bag tag if you are leaving a bag with your child.

If your child is not ready to stay in the room without you, a family viewing area is located in the first floor hallway, past the reception desk. Service will be live streamed on a TV so you don't miss service.

New moms can use our Nursing Room located in the Vineyard Littles room. The service is live streamed into the room so you don't miss it. Our Nursing Room is provided with a rocking chair, pillow, side table, playpen, and soon to come low/gentle light.

Keep an eye out for…

  • Orange VBS provides great curriculum for our VBS experience and we LOVED last year’s theme, “Ready, Set, Move!”

    VBS

  • June 4th!

Move up Sunday happens at the end of the school year. Preschoolers entering Kindergarten and Vineyard Kids finishing 5th grade will be celebrated during this whole church event. Vineyard Littles that turn 3 are allowed to move up to the next room after their birthday. Emails are sent to parents as a reminder.

If Volunteers and Parents feel that the child is not ready to move up we can have a discussion and make a plan.

  • Baptisms are (hesitantly) held every other month. If your child has expressed interest in being baptized, there are Baptism Interest Meetings the week before. Keep an eye on the events page for upcoming interest meetings. If there isn’t one coming up, feel free to talk to Children’s Pastor Christina Venrick or Associate Pastor Phil Herington.

  • Proverbs 22:6 instructs parents to “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”

While parents hold the primary role in discipling their kids, the church exists as an important partner, to encourage and equip parents to fulfill their responsibilities to the best of their abilities. Dedicating your child at the Vineyard is a first step in committing as parents to raise your child in the way of the Lord. It is also an opportunity for the church to bless, encourage, and commit to partner with you as you disciple your child.

Our Child Dedications will take place in November at the church. We will participate in a brief service, spend time praying for you and your children, and finish with a time of fellowship and light snacks. Families and friends are welcome! Registration is required, so check out the events page to sign up!
