The Lancaster Vineyard Church is committed to assisting members who have financial issues. This assistance goes way beyond helping to pay a bill. Those receiving assistance will receiving financial coaching, budgeting help, encouragement and accountability. As for non-members currently the Lancaster Vineyard uses its Food Pantry as a ministry to assist both members and non-members.

Benevolence Criteria
The Lancaster Vineyard Church is committed to assisting its members who are having financial issues. A predetermined amount of money is set aside annually for this purpose. So that these funds are spent in the way that God wants, criteria have been established to assist the staff and volunteers of the Lancaster Vineyard to administer these funds.
- The individual requesting funds must be a member of the Lancaster Vineyard for a minimum of six months and regularly attend when possible. Membership is defined as being on the active roster of the church.
- The individual must be part of and attend at least half of the meetings of a small group of the church. The small group may be formal or informal.
- The individual must agree to meet with a financial counselor of the church to confirm the need for funds and to discuss methods to minimize their needs for funds in the future.
- Individuals must be committed to improve their financial status to the best of their ability.
- Individuals must be willing to seek assistance from social service agencies for which they are eligible.
- Individuals must contribute their time to assist with the operation of or ministries administered by the Lancaster Vineyard Church.
- Funds may be given to an individual once per quarter and the amount will not exceed the limit which would require the issuance of an IRS for 1099, currently $600. The Lancaster Vineyard Church reserves the right to further limit the amounts and frequency of funds.
