Sunday mornings and VKIDS future secure child check-in, background checks for childcare workers, and safety and hospitality team to ensure a welcoming environment for families.
Here is what we’re doing to help parents disciple their kids:
- Sunday Mornings: classes for infants through 8th grade. It starts with infants and one year olds being told ‘God loves you’ and ‘God made you special’ as volunteers play and watch the children. These kind of truths are added to with each class. We have infant, 2s & 3s, Pre-K, K thru 4th grade, and middle school classes. Middle schoolers (5th-8th) begin in the sanctuary with their parents and are dismissed after worship for their own small group time.
- VKIDS: VKIDS is for kids infant through 5th grade on Wednesday nights 7pm-8:30pm throughout the school year. Through music, video, discussions, games, and small groups the lessons of Sunday are built upon. Drop off begins at 6:30pm.
- God Time & Refrigerator Time: these are take home sheets that facilitate family devotions and private devotions for the children.
- Youth Group: Jr. Hi and High School teens meet at the church 6pm-8pm Sunday evenings. Here adult sponsors mentor students through worship music, Bible study, prayer, and games.
- Teen Small Group: Wednesday evenings 7pm-8:30pm at the Agape Building, 423 W. Wheeling Street, Lancaster. This is a mid-week Bible Study lead by parents of teens. Teens are encouraged to come at 5pm to help with our food pantry that is open 5pm-7pm on Wednesdays.
