End of fiscal year report

It has been quite the year at the Lancaster Vineyard! Over the past 12 months of Fiscal Year 2022 (September 2021 to August 2022) we have experienced the hand and presence of God at work in many ways.

This report is designed to highlight some of the significant developments and activities of the church from the past year as well as provide transparency to the finances of the church. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to Phil Herington at phil@lancastervineayrd.org

The first significant moment in the life of our church was in September 2021, Joel Seymour announced he was stepping down as Lead Pastor of Lancaster Vineyard Church to take on a new role of Super Regional Leader (we know it's a terrible title) for Vineyard USA. After planting the church 24 years ago, Joel felt the Lord moving him to serve the wider collection of Vineyard churches across the country being a pastor to pastors. Joel still remains involved in the life of the church, now as a member, who occasionally preaches on Sundays.

Joel stepping down meant that someone would have to take his place. After a diligent and prayerful discernment process with the elders, Johnny Friesner was named Lead Pastor of Lancaster Vineyard Church effective January 1, 2022.
